Established in 1965, the American Advertising Federation - South Dakota (AAF-SD) is the only organization that includes members across all disciplines and career levels in advertising. Whether you’re new to the fast-paced world of advertising or a seasoned professional, AAF-SD is for you. We’re here to help you advance your career, build your connections and celebrate this ever-changing, amazing industry we work in.

AAF-SD hosts programs featuring nationally renowned creatives and industry professionals. We get attention from all over, and we’re committed to making sure you’re in on the goods. In addition, AAF-SD hosts the American Advertising Awards for their region to recognize the best of the best; aids local causes through special events throughout the year; and is an advocate for students breaking into the business, including scholarships, the Student American Advertising Awards, an online internship directory and our annual Student Day

Mission

Our mission is to serve as a unified voice for sales, marketing, and business professionals through award-winning programs, the American Advertising Awards for South Dakota, educational opportunities including Student Day and a student advertising competition, and public service projects while acting as a connecting point to the 8th District of the American Advertising Federation and the American Advertising Federation (AAF).

Our Board

Our board of directors is comprised of volunteers working in the advertising, marketing, sales, and communication industry. Our board consists of an executive committee and directors.
