JOB SUMMARY
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of creative professionals, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence. Shape the brand and creative direction for the City of Sioux Falls’ and its departments.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate across Communications & Culture to define content workflows and develop and execute content strategies.
Define and maintain the City's visual and brand identity, ensuring consistency across all communication channels, materials, and initiatives.
Collaborate closely with other divisions and departments to support their communication needs and initiatives while maintaining a unified brand and message.
Serve on the leadership team for the Communications & Culture Division, helping shape City and department strategies.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a degree in communications, marketing, graphic design, business, or related field with a minimum of four (4) years’ responsible experience some of which at the supervisory level; or any such combination of education, experience, and training as may be acceptable to the hiring authority.
Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as required.

The City participates in the South Dakota Retirement System. Employees receive a 6% match. Additionally, employees may choose to enroll in a Deferred Compensation Plan.

11 paid holidays and 2 personal leave days each calendar year.
New employees are granted 40 hours of vacation at time of hire and accrue an additional 2 weeks in their first year.
