First Bank & Trust: Graphic Designer
Are you a creative and skilled graphic designer ready to grow your career? First Bank & Trust's marketing team is looking for an experienced designer with a strong portfolio showcasing both print and digital work, along with a natural ability to communicate and collaborate. This person will be responsible for graphic design in the Marketing Department, as well as project coordination and print production duties.
Qualifications
This person must have a degree in graphic design or similar and 3+ years of relevant work experience. Adherence to deadlines, attention to detail, and effective communication skills are key factors to achieving success in this role. This person must be organized and self-motivated. Strong technical production skills using Adobe Creative Suite and proficiency in Microsoft Office software are required. The ability to create motion graphics using Adobe After Effects, Express, and/or Premier Pro is a plus. Some experience in writing advertising copy and web content, as well as web design experience, is beneficial. Advertising agency or in-house agency experience preferred. Portfolio required.
Responsibilities
Design and produce marketing materials, both digital and print, including print ads, newsletters, signage, brochures, posters, postcards and other branded business pieces.
Create and update campaign and sales materials based on established design and branding elements.
Manage promotions and the distribution of related marketing materials to all banks.
Design and create marketing images to incorporate our brand identity into sales presentations through Power Point, Video Displays, and Digital Signs.
Communicate directly with suppliers and specialty companies to order advertising specialty items; monitor inventory of stock on hand, budgeting for annual needs and maintaining consistency with brand standards.
Maintain relations with printers, media representatives and other vendors, negotiating annual contracts as well as utilizing volume discounts.
Prepare/post internal announcements and other company communications for email, intranet or website exposure.
Coordinate orders of company logo apparel, business cards and memo pads, creating and maintaining consistency with brand standards.
Process and document marketing invoices, reporting spending according to vendor, market and/or project.
Act in accordance with FBT policies and procedures as set forth in the employee handbook.
Adhere to compliance procedures and participate in required compliance training.
