Insight Marketing Design: Account Executive
Insight Marketing Design is poised for growth and we’re looking for an Account Executive to add to our team. An Account Executive acts as the liaison between clients and the inner agency workings, advocating for their needs, communicating the creative essence of our work, and advising their clients about multichannel marketing efforts. The Account Executive is responsible for maintaining and growing existing client relationships as well as nurturing new business leads into successful client connections. As a “manager of relationships”, the ability to work and play well with others is vital. Our ideal candidate will have prior experience working in marketing and managing client relationships. Must be organized and able to manage time effectively.

Insight is a full-service advertising agency – which means we provide a full gamut of services. Branding, design, video production, web development, research, strategy, digital and social – yeah, we have a lot of hats and we wear them often.
What You’ll Do
Develop and communicate not only the “what” but the “why.” After plans are developed and presented to clients, the Account Executive is responsible for carrying out the plan on a daily basis. You’ll maintain regular communication with agency clients. You’ll present new ideas and new opportunities. You’ll present creative work with confidence and enthusiasm. You’ll turn challenges into opportunities. You’ll interface with various departments (creative, media planning, interactive, production) to move projects and campaigns through the agency in a timely manner. Our clients cover a wide range of industries – we’re always learning about new services, products and companies. NO same ol’ same ol’ here.
Requirements
A Bachelor degree in business or marketing subjects and 5+ years of sales / account management experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of current marketing tactics and trends and how to apply them to various audiences
Detail-oriented, multitasker – Juggle multiple clients at once and pivot to others as needs arise
Advertising Agency experience is highly desirable
Responsibilities:
Develop and write proposals by assembling information including project nature, objectives/outcomes/deliverables, implementation, methods, timetable, staffing, budget, standards of performance, and evaluation.
Track client budgets as well as produce monthly billing.
Work with the Creative team to develop strategic marketing plans for clients. After plans are developed and presented to clients, the Account Executive is responsible for carrying the plan out on a daily basis.
Manage and maintain regular communication with agency clients.
Effectively presents, sells and defends all agency work/proposals to clients; supports other client service team members in these functions.
Actively seeks additional projects/new business from client contacts.

This is a full-time salaried position that reports to the Account Services Director. Candidate is expected to work at our Sioux Falls, SD office. Pay depending on experience.
