Reliabank: Content Marketing Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY: Provide content creation, administration support, and communication workflow to the marketing activities of the organization.

Marketing Content Creation

  • Content Creation: Support the conception and development of social media, blogs/stories, emails, newsletters, media (photo, video, graphics) and collateral to be published both online and in print.

  • Write and provide support for the various media outlets used by the organization to ensure proper language and grammar use, compliance purposes and overall soundness.

  • Research industry and marketing trends for implementation where appropriate.

  • Remain current with design software updates and pursue training if/when needed.

Marketing Administration

  • Act as a liaison between the Marketing group and other departments within the bank to ensure that promotions, events, and similarly related meet marketing standards.

  • Participate actively in both Marketing and Pre-Marketing Committees to add input, capture ideas, and organize the efforts that the groups have identified.

  • Schedule and coordinate event planning activities such as scheduling dates and time, making reservations, soliciting staffing resources, ordering, and purchasing supplies, etc.

  • Manage and schedule all social media posts and monitor comments.

  • Work with media and assist in development of releases, create print PSAs, and serve as contact for surrounding media and local radio stations.

  • Work with vendors to order internal and external marketing materials to designated specifications and quantities. Distribute items as needed to bank branches.

  • Monitor and follow up on all placed media.

Marketing Director Assistant

  • Take notes and write minutes during Marketing Director meetings.

  • Schedule and arrange meetings.

  • Act as liaison between Marketing Director and organizations, vendors, and any other partnership groups.

  • Prepare communications on behalf of the Marketing Director.

  • Act as the first point of contact for the Marketing Director as necessary.

  • Manage the employer's calendar, appointment scheduling, and deadlines.

  • Pick up deliveries and run errands as needed (Tracking mileage).

  • Track filing systems for administrative tasks.

  • Conduct and prepare research that the director may request.

  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma Required.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Marketing, Communication or equivalent education and experience.

  • Marketing/Graphic Designer 1+ year

  • Time management skills: ability to effectively organize and prioritize work.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Teamwork skills and experience.

  • Ability to efficiently operate computers (Windows; Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Publisher; Adobe: Photoshop, InDesign) and other office equipment with a high degree of accuracy.

  • Working knowledge of page layout, photo editing, content writing for ads and social media, plus digital marketing experience is beneficial.

  • Ability to communicate well with customers and employees, both verbal and written.

  • Maintain the integrity of highly confidential customer and bank financial information.

  • Communication, organizational and time management skills.
