Job Details
The Media Strategist is responsible for developing and implementing media strategies for clients based on defined business objectives. Specific duties will include developing the right marketing mix to meet defined audience segments, understanding of platforms and what is needed at various stages of the consumer funnel, and ability to optimize campaigns effectively. The Media Strategist will be responsible for interacting with clients, attending client meetings, and representing the company in a professional manner.
Day-to-Day Expectations
Lead and guide media campaign strategy and plan development, execution, and optimization
Vendor management for existing relationships as well as looking for new opportunities
Provides accurate estimating for media performance
Articulate strategy and get buy-in from internal teams and clients
Assist in billing efforts and collaboration with finance and account teams
Required Skills
Strong writing and project management skills
Able to simplify media and digital marketing jargon to clients
Thorough understanding of media terminology
Full understanding of when and which tactics should be used in campaigns
Self-starter with the ability to identify client needs and opportunities and address them with little direction
Good presentation skills
Ability to understand media performance data and create topline media recommendations based on the information
Experience working in paid media platforms such as Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, etc
