First Dakota National Bank: Marketing Coordinator

SUMMARY:

A First Dakota Marketing Coordinator takes charge of building relationships across First Dakota locations and product lines to identify and create strategic opportunities to promote the bank and its services. As the primary marketing contact internally for assigned bank departments and product segments, the Coordinator collaborates with the marketing department on bank-wide initiatives to ensure marketing plans and campaigns are consistent with First Dakota’s brand, mission and strategic plan. The Marketing Coordinator will work on innovative, needs-driven marketing solutions to create value for departments, branches and product lines.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field

  • 5+ years in a marketing environment; financial marketing experience preferred

  • Thorough knowledge of marketing basics

  • Knowledge of social media platforms

  • Experience in social media marketing and sponsored content

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Must work well in a team environment

  • Great organizational and project management skills

  • Strong analytical, decision-making and self-problem-solving skills

  • Travel is rare but may be needed

  • Event planning experience

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Understand assigned bank departments, locations, and product lines and act as primary contact for marketing-related needs

  • Assist with executing marketing strategies and objectives

  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure campaigns are executed accurately, on time and within budget

  • Analyze and communicate data-driven insights to develop recommendations to improve customer segmentation and targeting strategies

  • Assist with content management on all bank websites

  • Create and manage email marketing opportunities

  • Promote First Dakota product and services via social media

  • Provide competitive research data to support bank-wide marketing strategic plan

  • Manage research to support new bank projects and initiatives

  • Generate reports and track performance of tactics to meet department and management requests

  • Position will be located in Sioux Falls

  • Position will require daily in office attendance
