Objectives of this role:
Collaborate with our clients to find creative solutions to their problems
Excel in a fast-paced, collaborative atmosphere with a high workload and tight deadlines
Continuously improve and raise the standard for writing that resonates with the target audience and prompts action
Flexibly adapt the tone, style and other elements of messaging depending on the industry, company or target audience
Stay informed about relevant industry trends and client-related communications
Consistently adhere to the appropriate style guides and established brand voice
Key Responsibilities
Analyze creative briefs and generate ideas for implementation with designated brands
Conduct research to understand the client's needs and target audience via online research, existing research analysis, interviews with experts and face-to-face meetings
Write original copy and edit content for a variety of marketing and communications materials, including websites, landing pages, blogs, email campaigns, social media posts, case studies, white papers, etc.
Collaborate with a team of account managers and creative staff, from concept development to delivery of final product
Present copy concepts and final deliverables to internal team and participate in client pitches
Produce high-quality and understandable documentation/technical writing with the goal to improve the success of our products.
Contribute to the development of long-term content strategies for clients
Revise copy based on internal and client feedback
Some project management required
Required Skills and Qualifications:
3+ years of professional copywriting experience, with a solid portfolio of work
Exceptional writing and research abilities
Ability to work independently or as part of a team and meet deadlines
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks
Attention to detail and appreciation for great design
Solutions-oriented mentality
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in journalism, English, communications, or related discipline
Proofreading experience and familiarity with standard style guides
An understanding of SEO best practices and the ability to optimize content for search engines and/or experiencing managing social media accounts
Experience with content management systems
