The Sampson House: Account Executive
The Sampson House looking for a driven Account Executive who can build strong client relationships, lead projects with confidence, and think strategically about brand growth. This role is ideal for someone ready to move beyond day-to-day coordination and step into a leadership trajectory. We’re looking for a proactive Account Executive who not only manages client relationships but also contributes to agency growth and operational excellence.
This person will be empowered to initiate efficiencies, lead internal improvements, and coach team members to elevate how we work.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary client contact for assigned accounts—owning the relationship and ensuring client confidence in TSH.
Develop strategic marketing and campaign plans that drive measurable business results.
Write creative briefs and strategy decks that guide internal teams across design, content, media, and digital.
Lead client meetings, presentations, and workshops—ensuring alignment, inspiration, and clarity.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and scopes, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
Use analytics, research, and industry insights to inform recommendations and optimize campaign performance.
Partner closely with creative and media teams to ensure brand consistency and excellence across all touchpoints.
Attends key shoots to ensure the client experience and brand vision are upheld.
Acts as the client liaison on-site, ensuring the client feels heard, supported, and represented.
Provides quick approvals, helps the creative team interpret client intent, and ensures what’s being captured aligns with campaign and/or project objectives.
May help plan shoot conceptually — ensuring shoot direction aligns with strategy and client goals.
Identify organic growth opportunities within your accounts, with a goal to expand client revenue by 10%+ annually.
Develop and implement process improvements that enhance team collaboration and project efficiency.
Identify opportunities to optimize workflows, improve communication, and refine client delivery standards.
Coach and mentor junior account staff in client communication, organization, and problem-solving.
Lead training sessions or process reviews to elevate team standards and consistency.
Participate in new business efforts—from RFP responses to pitch presentations.
Stay current on marketing trends, tools, and emerging technologies relevant to your clients’ industries.
Represent The Sampson House at community events, networking opportunities, and industry gatherings to build agency visibility and strengthen relationships.
Proactively identify, attend and participate in client events—from key events to community initiatives, milestones, etc. —to foster strong, ongoing partnerships and demonstrate our commitment to their success, building trust and connection beyond day-to-day work.
Qualities & Requirements
3–6 years of experience in account management, marketing, or agency work.
Strong grasp of brand strategy, campaign development, and integrated marketing.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills—comfortable presenting ideas to clients and leadership.
A natural relationship-builder with a balance of empathy and assertiveness.
High attention to detail and organizational skills; thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in project management tools like Asana.
Experience managing budgets and timelines.
Passion for marketing, storytelling, and community.
