The Sampson House operates out of our downtown Sioux Falls office and has a hybrid schedule with three days in the office and two days remote. Applicants must live in or around the Sioux Falls area or be willing to relocate.
Digital Specialist -
We are looking to add a strategic and creative Digital Specialist to The Sampson House team. This person will play a key role in managing and executing digital strategies for The Sampson House and our clients. They will be responsible for creating and optimizing digital content, managing client social media accounts, and ensuring seamless digital experiences across multiple platforms. From social media to SEO and paid media, this role requires a blend of creativity, analytical thinking, and technical expertise.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO
Develop and execute strategic social media plans for both clients and The Sampson House.
Conceptualize and create engaging, insight-driven social content that is relevant, original, and aligned with brand goals.
Write compelling social media and blog content, ensuring a consistent brand voice across platforms.
Manage multiple social media accounts, including content scheduling, audience engagement, and performance monitoring.
Maintain a daily social media presence, actively monitoring channels, engaging with followers, and responding to comments.
Oversee social media advertising efforts, including boosting posts, optimizing ad targeting, and tracking performance.
Stay up to date with social media trends, platform algorithm updates, and digital marketing innovations to refine strategies.
Optimize digital content using search engine optimization (SEO) best practices to improve search rankings and visibility.
Conduct keyword research to enhance website content, blogs, and social media posts for better search performance.
Implement on-page SEO techniques, including meta tags, alt text, and internal linking strategies.
Monitor website performance and SEO rankings using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console, providing insights for improvement.
Collaborate with the content team to ensure website copy aligns with SEO strategies and digital marketing goals.
Stay informed on algorithm changes and emerging SEO trends to continuously refine optimization efforts.
Develop engaging blog posts, social media captions, and website copy aligned with SEO and social trends.
Strategically organize and craft copy for email marketing campaigns to maximize engagement.
Assist with media and market research to inform digital marketing strategies.
Track and measure ongoing performance of social media campaigns and SEO efforts, providing data-driven recommendations for optimization.
Prepare detailed performance reports, analyzing key metrics and offering strategic insights.
Design and implement Asana templates for efficient project management and task tracking.
Take thorough meeting notes and distribute action items to relevant team members, ensuring seamless execution.
QUALITIES + REQUIREMENTS -
A four-year college degree in advertising, marketing, or a related field.
1+ years of marketing or agency experience.
Act as a dedicated ambassador for The Sampson House, embodying our values while representing the agency with professionalism, enthusiasm, and authenticity.
Passion for social media and digital marketing.
Experience managing and optimizing content across multiple social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
Organized, detail-oriented, and strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Knowledge of digital marketing across search, display, and programmatic platforms.
Excellent analytical skills to understand data to align strategies.
Experience working in Google Sheets, slides, and docs
PREFERRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Relevant certificates like Google Analytics Certification, Google Ads Certification, Meta Certifications, etc.
Familiarity with marketing analytics tools like Google Analytics and SEMRush.
